Name: La Bandita Calaca
Medium:Enamel on Antique Mirror
Availability:Sold
Size:9x20

The "Little Bandit" appears so sweet and innocent in her pretty Sunday dress...until she brandishes her pistola and dares you to follow.

This version of "La Bandita" differs from the light, airy watercolor version in many ways: first, the battered frame and glass surface are antiques from 1928; second, the textured background was achieved by layering various shades of red spray paint for depth and topping it off with gold flake for subtle sparkle; third, the female skeleton character was painted with bright, contrasting enamels for a dramatic, shiny finish.

Please Note: Due to the delicate nature of the antique glass and frame, this piece requires special packaging for delivery. Additional shipping costs will be determined based upon your location.
