The sheet music for the Spanish folk corrido "La Cucaracha" was set atop a clayboard, washed with brown acrylic paint, and clear-coated to give it an aged, yet shiny appearance. Then, bright acrylic paint pens were used to create the happy sugar skull character and filigree.
