The captain alerts his crew to the giant octopus stalking them, but not soon enough...

First, a thick, circular glass piece was spray painted and clear-coated to created the watery background. Then, the octopus was painted with various shades of teal and tan 1 Shot enamel to make him pop to the forefront. Lastly, the piece was mounted in a faux patina metal porthole to complete the illusion that the octopus is moving underwater towards the viewer.
