Justice on the Plains

A high plains law dog and a jail-bound bandito riddled the dusty streets of an old cow town with bullets, but one man was the quicker draw.

Painting Process
Justice on the Plains captures post-shootout imagery with a close-up of a skeleton outlaw's lifeless hand still clutching his custom six-shooter.

The background was created with warm acrylics on a 30 x 10 canvas, while the underpainting was created with a variety of gouaches. The long-format painting was then detailed with 1 Shot enamel, clear-coated, and mounted in a rustic, custom wood frame built by David that brings the total measurement to 42 x 18.5.

Canvas Prints
The ready-to-hang Justice on the Plains canvas prints are produced with archival ink on museum-grade, gallery-wrapped canvas and extend 1.25 inches off the wall, so there's no need for a frame. There are several sizes available and each limited-edition giclee is signed and numbered out of only 40 Artist Proofs. Please allow up to three weeks for delivery of canvas prints, as they are custom-built at the time the order is placed.
