The skeleton surfer catches the perfect wave, but some suspicious sea creatures are blocking his totally tubuluar path towards the shore.
The 36 x 20 aquaboard was first painted with acrylics to build up a colorful, watery background for the skeleton surfer, while the underpainting was created with gouache to block in the daredevil and his new associates. Dark blue enamel was used to paint the fine line work and then the piece was clear-coated before being mounted in a faux driftwood frame that Lozeau built from new wood, bringing the total measurement of this funny commission painting to 44 x 34.
The 18 x 12 R.I.P. Current prints are produced with archival ink on glossy paper and are perfect for those of you who prefer to frame your art.
The ready-to-hang R.I.P. Current canvas prints are produced with archival ink on museum-grade, gallery-wrapped canvas and extend 1.25 inches off the wall, so there's no need for a frame. There are several sizes available and each limited-edition giclee is signed and numbered out of only 40 Artist Proofs. Please allow up to three weeks for delivery of canvas prints, as they are custom-built at the time the order is placed.
