Skeleton Neptune and his mighty sea steeds smash though the breakers on their way to Circus Flaminius.

Painting Process
Alternating shades of yellow and blue acrylics were used to create a watery atmosphere for the Roman God of the Sea (and Horses), while various colors of gouache were used to block in their forms and dark blue enamel was used to finely detail the mythological character, his chariot, and his equine pals.

Lozeau handmade the frame from old wood and then sanded and stained it to achieve a sea-battered feel. He wove the corners with old rope and then affixed a nautical metal header piece and resin barnacle accents for a bit of whimsy, bringing the total measurement to 33 x 40.

Paper Prints
The 8 x 10 and 12 x 18 Neptune prints are produced with archival ink on glossy paper and are perfect for those of you who prefer to frame your art.

Canvas Prints
The ready-to-hang Neptune canvas prints are produced with archival ink on museum-grade, gallery-wrapped canvas and extend 1.25 inches off the wall, so there's no need for a frame. There are several sizes available and each limited-edition giclee is signed and numbered out of only 40 Artist Proofs. Please allow up to three weeks for delivery of canvas prints, as they are custom-built at the time the order is placed.
