On the Warpath

The Indian woman broke free, stole back her painted horse, and started on a warpath to enact revenge upon her captors.

Painting Process
The 36 x 18 clayboard was painted with a variety of acrylics, the underpainting was created with just a few colors of earthy, muted gouache, and then the line work was painted with custom-mixed dark brown enamel.

The wood frame was constructed, aged, sanded, and stained by Lozeau to create a rustic, Old West look with bone beading details in the corners that match the rider's traditional chestplate.

Paper Prints
The 18 x 12 On the Warpath prints are produced with archival ink on glossy paper and are perfect for those of you who prefer to frame your art.

Canvas Prints
The ready-to-hang On the Warpath canvas prints are produced with archival ink on museum-grade, gallery-wrapped canvas and extend 1.25 inches off the wall, so there's no need for a frame. There are several sizes available and each limited-edition giclee is signed and numbered out of only 40 Artist Proofs. Please allow up to three weeks for delivery of canvas prints, as they are custom-built at the time the order is placed.
