Charging to the Front

The American MP rides his motorcycle through a war-torn city on his way to the front line of the battle.

Painting Process
The 24 x 48 background was layered with alternating orange and blue acrylics to create a fiery, ominous sky and then the brave soldier was painted with various colors of gouache and dark blue enamel to finely detail his skeleton form and WWII-era motorcycle.

Lozeau built the custom frame with new wood and then aged, painted, and stained it before adding the vintage blackout light and latches, bringing the total measurement to 36 x 64.

Paper Prints
The 12 x 18 Charging to the Front prints are produced with archival ink on glossy paper and are perfect for those of you who prefer to frame your art.

Canvas Prints
The ready-to-hang Charging to the Front prints are produced with archival ink on museum-grade, gallery-wrapped canvas and extend 1.25 inches off the wall, so there's no need for a frame. There are several sizes available and each limited-edition giclee is signed and numbered out of only 40 Artist Proofs. Please allow up to three weeks for delivery of canvas prints, as they are custom-built at the time the order is placed.
